Some photos of cannibals. See how they look.

Ever wondered what cannibalism is in human beings? When I was taking a walk through some regions in Kibale district, I met some personalities who agreed to share with us the most ever wondered habit in Kibale, and now I have offered to share this out for every one to be informed.
Cannibalism is the act or practice of
humans eating the flesh or internal
organs of other human beings . At times you may wonder what an evil act and how this is carried out, the one offered to give us information narrates out.
Cannibalism in Kibaale is not a new word to the locals. No one expresses shock over it. That cannibalism, on its own is still being practiced in some areas of Mugarike, Kagadi kibale district. As the root source of that name meaning that the one to be fed on should be prepared for slaughtering.

CAUSES OF CANNIBALISM.
It is said that cannibalism started way back in colonial rules by the colonialists. As it is stated >In colonial Jamestown, colonists
resorted to cannibalism during a
period known as the Starving Time ,
from 1609 to 1610.  After food
supplies were diminished, some
colonists began to dig up corpses for
food. During this time period, one
man was tortured until he confessed
to having killed, salted, and eaten his
pregnant wife; he was burned alive
as punishment. For more reading click here
From such instances, as they say practice makes perfect, when one grows up in a cannibalistic environment, he gets accustomed to it and as a result, he resorts to the vice.
HOW IS THE VICE PRACTICED.
The one Tuhaise A, who managed to share with us the story, said that he used to hear others say that those cannibals either eat live human beings or eat dead bodies.
out story is basically on dead bodies.
After burying someone, they come with their charm which they put in the grave yard that forces the dead body out which later follows them up to their slaughtering place and they start the process.
During that period of un burying, there comes a lot of wind which whirls very strongly through which the dead is taken.

HOW TO PREVENT THIS ACT FROM HAPPENING.
make sure to inject the dead with paraffin before burying them. It is said that with this, the cannibals sense it and they don’t dare try eating that body.
Secondly, Self-declared god, Dosteo Bisaka started his own religion in 1980 has played a big role in combating the habit out as it was written by newvision. They stated that “Bisaka’s power does not tolerate witchcraft, cannibalism, and wrong doers. In fact when he had just started preaching in
early 1980s, he used to identify cannibals by just looking at them. He would then warn them to stop,” he said.
“Those who refused would face it rough. My daughter, I witnessed people die! Cannibals really saw what Bisaka was made
of. That’s how cannibalism reduced in this area.”
Bisaka’s effect
Dosteo Bisaaka was a Catholic catechist till 1980 and left to start his own religion. He is now the leader of more than two
million people in Uganda, Rwanda, DR Congo and South Sudan. Owobusobozi Bisaka is revered and worshiped as god and
generally feared by all. Even those who criticise him for calling himself god acknowledge his success in identifying and
healing witches and cannibals and generally reducing their numbers in the area.
At Bisaka’s Itambiro (palace), I was received by the leaders, Omukwenda Tuhumwire and Omukwenda Turyamureba.
Turyamureba said, about 50% who joined Bisaka were witchdoctors and 5%, cannibals.
“This area was really bad but Bisaka kept on teaching people to stop witchcraft and cannibalism and those that came to
the Itambiro (Healing place) were saved. They are now good and developmental people in the society,” he said.
“I identify and heal cannibals and witches. I order them to repent and change them to good people. Those who refuse, I
curse and they die. I will not allow any cannibal to remain in this area,” said the soft-spoken ecclesiastic whose following
spreads across Toro, Bunyoro and Kigezi.
One of the reformed cannibals at Bisaka’s itambiro, who asked not to be identified, narrates: “I was bewitched into eating
human flesh. Satanic medicines entered me without knowledge of what I was suffering from. Owobusobozi sent the
charms out of me. I was healed instantly.”  click here to view the original extract.

LIVE FACTS AND WHAT OTHERS SAY ABOUT IT.
Buyaga County MP Barnabas Tinkasimire says: I thank Owobushobozi Bisaka who has uprooted and healed cannibals. In
the mid 1980s, cannibals were feared.
Sometimes the community would arrest the suspects and take them to Police, but they would be released for lack of
evidence.
I was also told such people would change into cats if they wanted to eat you. There was a man who one time turned into a
cat and wanted to eat his brother.
When his brother picked a panga to chase away a cat, it turned into a human being, pleading ‘my brother, don’t kill me’.
The way forward is to issue threats against them because the Police do not help. Bisaka has helped, but those who have
persisted should be forced to relocate.
